Woods won it fairly clearly, though it was very close.

Johnson bossed the opening round but Woods clawed his way in front after three rounds, in the ninth it looked like Woods was on his way out but managed to hang on and Johnson burned himself out in that round. At that point, Johnson was just in front IMO but Woods out-worked down the stretch to claw himself in front.

It was a fairly exciting fight, but quite scrappy and certainly neither of those guys would even live Calzaghe.


Oh and Ricky Hatton was working Woods' corner.

I wouldnt say cleanly Geoff. There were some rounds where I guess you would have to be in a ringside position to call. At the end I thought the crowd gave Woods an extra round with the home support.

most definatly. i mean why hype yourself up to be good when your not. or maybe its khan. he did win the silver medel and then beat kinderlan in a rematch
