I had it 115-113 for Johnson. I can't remember the exact rounds but I do remember thinking he needed to win the last three to make it a draw and he then giving the 10th to Johnson. that was one of the close rounds though. Woods clearly won 11 and 12 to put him right in there tbh. Did they show the judges cards? The one guy who scored it for woods must have had a 10-8 to johnson in the 9th and scored it 8-4 to woods to get 115-112!
i had ir 116-112 for woods
i didnt score the 9 10-8 and gave some of the close rounds to the person who was more active and landed more shots and that was woods.
Yeah i guess in the close rounds it depends on what you favour. Woods kept up the workrate but johnson landed the better punches and kept Clinton going backwards. It was a great fight, not elite standard but real grit and determination from both guys.
I hope Clinton goes on to get the megafight vs Calzaghe now, but he'll get comprehensively outpointed should that happen...

so you had it 8-4 to woods without the 10-8 round, which I disagree with but with that entertainment, as a fan I don't really care.

yep 8-4 woods ino johnson was putting more sting on hes shots but socring aint done on power so some of the close rounds had to go to woods with the better accuracy
but yah i agrea it was a great fight

If that was purely the case, then all those people who had Barrera beating Morales on points in their first fight must be wrong.
It could have gone either way to be honest, it depends on your interpretation of the fight, throughout both fighters landed consistently and worked extremely hard.
I personally had it even going into 12 so with Woods obviously winning that round he for me deserved the decision.
British judge Mickey Vann scored the contest 115-113 in favour of Johnson but Americans Richard Bays (115-112) and Roberto Ramirez (116-112) found in favour of Woods!
