Brian Kenny is plenty knowledgeable, and used to fight himself I believe as an amatuer. If you can to discredit Brian, it's not going to be because of his 'lack of knowledge'.

Brian Kenny never laced 'em up.
Your post was good before you brought in that bull****.

On maxoboxing, it was mentioned more than once that yes, Brian did in fact have amateur fights. People always used this to try to say he was smarter than Kellerman in the days when Kellerman was on FNF.

In any case, he probably was just a bum. World class boxing and it's politics is not his zone.

Floyd said if he retired now, he would be considered the best of all time.
i don't care if Brian Kenny has never seen a boxing ring before in his life, the fact that Floyd makes a comment like the one above is just ignorant, irregardless of anything Kenny says to him...

If anyone understand boxing politics, Kenny does. That's his job. He respects the Ring over the belts, a clear sign that he has some kind of knowledge of the absurdity that goes on from time to time with the belts. You don't have to be in the ring to know about the politics of the sport.

                  Money talks...every thing else walks.
                  Roy understood that...you don't.

Ok then. What exactly is your point? That Margarito didn't offer enough money? Not that there's anything wrong with fighting Baldomir. This was an acceptable choice imo.

As far as accomplishments and value Margarito < Baldomir.
