he was kind of right by sayin there is no point goin over old grounds tho, especially late on in his career -
theres no point in saying hatton ducked mayweather or mayweather ducked hatton until hattons had hes next 2 fights , the truth is that hatton nd mayweather are hbo fighters , hbo can make heeps of cash keeping them apart and then make heeps more by bringing them together when there market value is lowering.
all i hear is talk about hatton demanded 13m but wat bout when mayweather demanded 25m to fight in manchester , a user called sqauredcircle posted an article ages ago from a credible site bout itComment

This is why I have no respect whatsoever for Ricky Hatton. He says he wants to retire in a couple more years, so he wastes his time with a guy like Urango who got a gift decision his last fight and is really just coming out of prospect status. A guy like Hatton should not be wasting his time with an ESPN level fighter like Urango...Originally posted by josenowayheh.
he goes on and on about how he hasn't got much time left.
then he's got this list of 10 most wanted opponents.
and it doesn't include Urango.
so whose he fighting next? Urango.
chuckle.
And he acts as if he destroyed Collazo and there's no point to a rematch. That fight was close. A few people thought Collazo won. If it wasn't for the flash knockdown in the first, it would have been a draw. And the **** that's really ****** is that right after the fight he was saying he would love to fight Collazo again so there wouldn't be any controversy. Hatton knows he got lucky against Collazo and there's a real chance he would lose the rematch...Comment
