It's been reported in the UK media that former world boxing champion "Prince" Naseem Hamed is to be freed from jail after serving just 16 weeks of a 15-month sentence for dangerous driving. Hamed admitted to dangerous driving following a crash in his sports car and was sentenced on May 12. Prison sources confirmed Hamed, 32, will be released on an electronic tag next week under the Home Office's Home Detention Curfew (HDC) scheme. [details]

Its good to see Hamed out of jail soon, but don't count on a comeback. He needs to get his life out of the ring in order, then go into commentating or something.Comment

He deceived the public into thinking he was making a comeback, which is basically extremely unlikely now. That is unless he comes out of prison and is down to something like 10st, which he wont be.Comment
