If you have been following boxing for anytime at all, you know that the weigh-in tells the story and that's when teh betting odds change. For example, Buster Douglas was believed to be an even-money bet against Evander Holyfield when they fought.....until the weigh-in. This is ALL I am pointing out in this case. If you want to say that's ME setting myself up to be right.....so, sue me. If I'm right, I'm right, if Peter being too heavy caused him to lose the fight down the stretch because he ran out of gas, yes, I said it So what?

Does that make me any more credible than you picking Toney to win because he's your favorite fighter and because of any pre-disposed opinion you had of Peter long ago? And what's more important, do you think I really give a ****?

I don't let people try to make themselves look like experts when they say things that ANYBODY could say. The weigh-in is over, the predictions now are the predictions, no excuses allowed. I also said if Toney came in way overweight, then he could potentially lose, but he came in at a decent weight, so my prediction stands. You don't see me throwing in any extra information like "if Toney is poisoned, then I could see him losing". That's having your cake and eating it too. You predicted Peter, so when Peter loses, everyone can see that you didn't know what you were talking about. You can't say "an in shape Peter beats Toney easily" because there is nothing to base it on. Basically, if Toney wins, you won't give him any credit and for some messed up reason, you'll say if Peter was in shape, he would have won.

You don't see me going around (like so many other Toney fans) saying Toney would have beat Rahman if he was in shape. I don't give a damn about that. HE WASN'T IN SHAPE, AND RAHMAN DESERVED TO WIN. That's all the information we have, and speculation isn't worth jack.

If you mean the prediction league in Team Classic, I've already posted my Toney-Peter prediction there. I didn't post the others, quite honestly, because I don't have enough information on the bulk of the other fighters to feel comfortable making a prediction. I haven't had cable TV since 2003.
