They might not make AS muck money, but they wont be far off! Oscar is STILL a massive box office atracttion(even though he's lost a few times). With most fighters, when they lose the next time they fight a lot of fans fail to tune in. But not Oscar!

To clear a few things up:

No, Trinidad doesn't deserve a rematch regardless of what happened in the first fight. The only reason De La Hoya is considering it is because he's as vain as hell; that's the reason that he gave the rematch to Mosley.

The Trinidad fight was noteworthy because they were two of the best undefeated fighters in the world and it was a big occasions, but the lasting impression is of De La Hoya simply miscalculating. He lost because of that. Trinidad was completely outboxed, and in recent years he was completely outboxed by Hopkins and by Wright, after which fights he retired....twice!

What current credibility does Trinidad carry into the ring compared to Mayweather who is the number one in the world?

Trinidad came back for the money and went back out as soon as it became clear that he was not going to be able to make that money thanks to Wright. Yeah, sounds like he's deserving to me.

De La Hoya will fight Mayweather, and he is just using Trinidad's name as insurance to make sure that Mayweather gets his **** together.

Are you serious? You don't even make sense, if you would say because hes gay I would of probaly understood that but vain I dont know LOL but serious you see how this guy thinks DLH is giving fighters like Trinidad, Mosley, and Mayweather the time of day. Sort of like Margarito, Mr. big shot calling all the shots on who and when he should fight. Its not all about what DLH wants or wants to give, fighters should fight.

Come on you've got to admit Mayweather could do with fighting some good fighters. Someone thats not been beaten (or even beaten that Convincingly for a while)Look who he's fought in his last 6 fights

Is this why people are raving about him? 19.04.03 he fights Victoriano Sosa (not particularly great)

01.11.03 he fights Phillip Ndou (you all know this guy is not that good.

22/05/04 he fights DeMarcus Corley. This was his only fight in 2004! (who had just lost to Zab Judah)

Then on 25/06/05 he fights the blown up club fighter Gatti (I love Gatti by the way).

Then on 19/11/05 he fights Sharmba Mitchell (who was dominated by Kostya and on the slide)

The last but.. well you know, he struggles with Judah (who.. well need I say?)

I AM NOT A FLOYD HATER!!! I like the fact he looks like he has the style to dominate everyone. But we'll never know unless he stops fighting losing fighters. Since 2002 (well since he fought Castillo)

I want to see him fulfill his potential! But he wont do it fighting Kostyas leftovers (I might add not looking too good in the process)
