well clinton woods isnt going to fight for the wbo and ibf super middle weight titles.

there will be a catch weight i reckon sum where in the middle.

but ill go for glen johnson if the fights in the UK. then glen will get robbed.(if its close) i just feel that there are too many boxers like clinton woods. he shows nothing unique.

Nope, he doesn't.. but neither did Bernard Hopkins.

I'm not a fan of Clinton Woods, but if he beats Johnson, he deserves the fight with Calzaghe, afterall.. Calzaghe was going to fight Johnson this year.

And Calzaghe has said he wants it to be at 175, so there can be titles involved, it's his goal to become a 2 division champion.

Clinton Woods is a decent fighter and he's earned his current profitable position in the Light Heavyweight division the hard way. I just feel that if Roy Jones hand't of flaked, there would never have been a world title sitting round Clintons waist, just like the current heavyweight division he's the best of a bad bunch. When the division had some genuine talent Woods was no more than a contender, now he's took advantage of the situation when there's no clear champion at that weight, but he's got a very hard job on his hands disposing of Glen Johnson.

If Clinton Woods does come through this one with the win I'm not sure where he'd go from there. Maybe beat up Roy Jones for a decent payday. Calzaghe would be too much for him. What is Antonio Tarver doing? and who is the Ring #1 & #2 at that weight?

Roy Jones would dispose of Woods, even now.. with ease.

Clinton Woods' style plays perfect for Roys.

I don't think so. Roy Jones is too far over the hill. He may have looked ok against Badi Ajamu, but it was clear to see that all of his skills seem to have abandoned him. Lets not forget Ajamu was a nobody who was built up into a somebody by the media, and early on Jones struggled, and looked like he might have even been heading for a defeat.

In the first round, if he worked Clintons body like he did to Ajamu, he would cruise a wide UD.

I don't doubt that he's not the fighter he once was, but he certainly hasn't fallen off that much.
