Who have YOU fought and why do you deserve to fight me? You’ve done what, 350,000 pay-per-view buys? 400, tops?? I’ve done a million-four with (Felix) Trinidad so why should you fight me?"

wow.. hes never been more right. Never really was a fan of DLH but u gotta admit, hes right about that one. Floyd has the skills to beat him but hes never made the amount of money that oscar has. yea they can make millions together but he could've made millions with margarito so before you marg haters say margarito aint on his level, which i think he is, just think about $$8 million for me.

Exactly. DLH can make the huge PPV sales with or without Mayweather, and command an even greater lion's share with another fighter. A rubber match with Mosely (the entire sane boxing world has them at 1-1), or several other fights would do comparable numbers to DLH-Mayweather. Winky? Mosely? Spinks? Or even make Floyd really look like a punk and take on Margarito, LOL. That won't happen because of the Arum-GoldenBoy feud, but it's an option.

Floyd is considered by many to be P4P #1, so going out with a win over Floyd would be a great ending to DLH's career, but what if he drops a decision to Floyd? Does he want to go out like that? DLH is about done. He may want to make a big fight with someone who he has a better shot of beating, and this quote may be him setting those wheels in motion.

Delahoya has said severarl times Mayweather is the one fight he'd come back for. He's not looking at any other options. He wants Floyd because he's regarded as the top fighter pound for pound.

And so what if he drops the decision. He was knocked out by Hopkins. Did that seem to bother him?

If he loses he's dropped a decision at the end of his career. Happens to all of them.

The fight makes a lot of sense for him on top of being another mega payday. He knows he's bigger and stronger and he thinks he can win.
