    What's your favorite boxing book?

What's your favorite boxing book? My personal favorite is The 16th Round by Hurricane Carter. He's a Jersey guy who was a tough contender in the middleweights in the 60s, then he was imprisoned for killing some white folk out in Paterson. He was exonerated and released after a long prison sentence. It was really interesting to read about a man wo had his life taken from him by the system that was very unjust in that era. Its amazing to read of a man so strong that he doesn't even hold grudges about the ****ed up **** that hes been through.

    What are some good reads?

I don't think he was exonerated exactly. His conviction was thrown out on procedural grounds.

My favorite about how to box is Ned Beaumont's Championship Streetfight: Boxing As A Martial Art and my favorite biography about a boxer is Joe Louis: The Great Black Hope by Richard Bak.
