Wilfredo Rivera v. Pernal Whitiker II = who won?

I just finished seeing the fight. I scored a clear victory for Rivera. The Hbo team was very biased towards Whitiker because the Trinidad, Delahoya and Quartey fights were around the corner so they heavily favored Whitiker and almost never gave Rivera credit.

Everybody like to say Whitiker was robbed against Chavez. But the tables turned on Whitiker and Rivera was robbed against Whitiker.

Whitiker from fights i remember seeing him, is a counter puncher and this time, he got out countered by the perfect style.

So who do you think won the second fight and the 1st fight?

I just finished hearing Rivera interviewed. And Merchant at first was letting Rivera say what ever he wanted, but when the tranlater mis-translated what Rivera said, then Merchant didn't care what Rivera wanted to say cause thanks to the translater Rivera already concided victory, but Rivera actually said he felt he won.

Theirs no doubt imo that the hbo team were told to be biased towards Whitiker no matter how the fight was going and thats what the hbo team did.

Larry Merchant is a punk, I've said good things about him before but Larry Merchant was just a ***** in this instance. He don't give a **** about any fighter as i once thought he did.

It was a close fight that could've gone either way. the 115-111 or whatever score was off, but the 113-112 I think was pretty much spot on and could've gone to either guy like that.

Hows it going Mattyp151 from boxrec? I post their too.

I honestly felt it was a clear victory for Rivera, close but a clear victory. At the end you can see Whitiker waiting for the decision but as if he already knew he lost, he had his had bowed down and looked a bit worried and when he heard the cards he didn't know how to react untill they called his name. Then he did a jester that to me is like saying, **** they gave me the fight. Sweet Pea was beaten at his own game of counter punching. I still don't know why Rivera didn't stay south paw all through the fight, he was doing good in south paw stance and throwing off Whitiker everytime he went south paw.
