    Interesting article, thanks for pasting that up. I thought they showed a little too much respect there - the Rahman who fought Maskaev looked like the same Rahman who fought Toney to me... it was just that Toney was dreadful that night, whereas Oleg turned up to do what he was supposed to do.

      Rahman threw over 1000 punches at Toney, and averaged close to 25 jabs thrown per round.

      His preformace vs Maskaev was nowhere near that activitly level.

      He got lazy, got away from his jab, and elected to slug.

      The preformances were completely different. He was afraid to throw his right hand agaisnt Toney and jabbed.

      Rahman's at his best when he's pumping the jab. What makes him such an inconsistant fighter is that he gets away from that. He did the same thing when he looked great in the Tua rematch and then went away from everything he did well in that fight when he fought Ruiz in the next fight.

      He does well, believes all the hype, and then goes back to being lazy.
