Lots of deep thoughts going on here. The prevailing line of thought seems to be that if you don't think Toney will win you must be a knucklehead. Did any of you watch his last fight???? Hasim Rahman -- yes that man who has now been knocked out twice by Oleg Maskaev -- beat him only to have a gift (for Toney) draw result.

Bias??? Of course there is bias. It is an opinion article. If there is no bias there is no article. Yes, I think Toney will lose.

Sure. There's always some really good reason. Some people will believe anything except the obvious evidence that is right in from of them.

It's always a possibility. I've been wrong about Toney before.

the only way peter can win is by KO, or if toney tires out and peter takes advantage. but toney looks to be in good shape and he has great defense, so i got toney by UD

The author admits that Toney will get knocked out if his legs fail him. I don't know why we have to discuss the same thing a 100th time over - it all depends on Toney's weight and conditioning.

believe what you want, jeboxing, but that's a fact. the steriods were to treat an injured shoulder, and the ruiz fight should have been in the summer, but a show got cancelled and HBO bought the fight forward.

this is basically an organized, well thought out form of what we hear from toneys detractors on this site every day. that's why the article got the negative responses. nobody ever comes with anything super compelling or original about toney, it's always the same song and dance. we know he's old, fat, light hitting for the weight, involved in a couple of controversial fights, etc.

the articles author makes it seem like peter is some endless windmilling power puncher who never stops throwing...which is not accurate. if i'm reading that the wrong way i apologize, but peter has been shown to reduce himself to one shot at a time. i believe he will be reduced to this in the later rounds once he eats about, oh, 200 clean counter shots.

toney isn't a big hitter by any means, but peter will start to feel the effects of being savagely countered if he is reckless enough.

And.........you would then conclude that the steroids had no effect?
