Sergio Mora, i am far from impressed!!!

i was impressed when he fought kereshahahahahaahaha w/e. i thought he fought well and stuck to his gameplan great and stoped that guy. early stopppage, but i think it would have been stopped a couple seconds later any way.

But in this fight, i was un-impressed. He was very flustered and over-excited. He needs to be relaxed or else he'll expend way to much energy. Look at OUMA. ouma has got great stamina, but its magnified by the fact that he is relaxed at all times.

I also noticed that he gets frustrated far to easily. When he gets clinched, he needs to keep his hands close to his body so he can fight on the inside and not have to jump back inside everytime they are seperated.

i think he looked a bit amaturish early on, but he picked up his act later and impressed me a bit.

Before this fight i thought mora might be able to last a full fight with Taylor, but not win a round. because mora can take a punch. the guy he just fought can punch good, and mora walked right through his punches.

But now i think Taylor would destroy Mora within 6. the fight shouldnt be made, at least not yet.

and agaisnt quartey, he would get KOed IMO. or TKOed from cuts. Everything quartey throws, including his jab, is all power.

Mora make interesting fights. I wouldn't mind seeing him with Taylor or Quartey. Mora is a bad styles match up for Quartey. Quartey doesn't seem to have the power he had at welterweight and Mora has skill to box, and boxer frustrates Quartey as evident in his fight with Forest. I would have rather seen Mora go against Taylor then Ouma. Ouma may go the distance, but will he fight out of he shell and throw burst of punchs, his fight with Powell didn't impress me and if Karmanzin was able to put down Ouma so should Taylor.

mora is definetly made for TV like ATLAS said. he is a very exciting and entertaing fighter.

i think a taylor-mora fight would be more about if mora could take what taylor gives. Mora can take a punch for sure, but taylor is a powerhouse.

I think its definetly more interesting and entertaining then ouma-taylor, but i do think ouma has a better chance at beating taylor

I think Taylor wins both by UD, but Mora would make the fight more interesting.

mora doesnt impress me with anything he does. his style is amaturish, his stamina is a liability, his power is non-existant, his chin is average, he cuts easily, hes not as fast as he should be, his technique is less than mediocre, and his personality is that of an arrogant brat.

mora doesnt belong in a boxing ring.

Mora we'll get crushed by Taylor.

Ouma will put a fight but still come up short against Taylor.

In your opinion who has the weaker chin, Ouma or Mora?

As much as it pains me to make an excuse for anything, I think (read: this is an opinion) that the ref in tonight's fight was terrible. I agree with kftooball that Mora got frustrated, but I think it was derived from getting clinched and held with no recourse very early in the fight, rather than not executing his plan. Also, lets face it...Taylor is a power puncher, and a good one. The point here is that anyone getting drilled by Taylor is going to be in some trouble. The draw to the Mora-Taylor is that Sergio can walk through some stiff, stiff shots. He did it cut (twice) against Manfredo and Ter-milkinsan (terrible sp). If the fight between Mora-Taylor went to cards, it'd be interesting because of the same reason we're doubting Mora. If Taylor couldn't get his big shots to KO Mora, he'd probably get frustrated.

                    good question.

I'd say it's about even. Ouma just has more experience and is more relaxed in the ring. Quality of opponents suggests that Ouma has been tested and Mora has not. I think Mora will get hurt if he fights Taylor, whereas Ouma might just be tough enough to survive 12 rounds but still lose.
