    Kelly Pavlik

Just watched Pavlik/McKart on OLN not too long ago...that was a pretty good fight. They were standing toe to toe for the majority of the fight, trading freely without much clinching or fouling. The announcers were annoying as hell because they were non-stop riding McKarts jock until it looked like he was ready to go...while Kelly was just throwing and landing heavy shots without waivering.

Now, I know this fight took place awhile ago and Bronco is past his prime, but I thought this was a good showcase for Pavlik. He has a high workrate, showed a pretty good chin, and has VERY heavy hands. I haven't seen McKart busted up so bad ever. Every shot Pavlik was landing was making a dull thudding sound. I liked what I saw from him. He's pretty tall and rangy and he gets good pop on his punches from range. You can see why his KO ratio is so high.

I'd like to see him take on Taylor in the future...both guys are big, physical, and can punch hard despite being a bit raw. Taylor is more talented, but Pavlik has aspects of his game that Taylor does not possess yet.

At his age, McKart simply didn't have the foot arches to get up on his toes and dance around the ring. Had he been able to move around it would've been an easy fight.
