So i finally picked up the new RING magazine today...

i had nothing better to do all day today, so i picked up RING magazines double-issue and Boxing digest.

#1, the ring magazine has like a 5 page article on chris Eubank for some reason. i havent read it yet, but i know there are a ton of fans up in here that love eubank, so ull prolly wanna pick that up.

But i was reading 2 articles in the RING magazine and they had a bunch of different views on what gatti and vargas should do next. But one of the guys thought that both vargas and gatti should fight on. gatti should achieve his dream now before it haunts him later, they said.

But in BOXING digest they said they hoped to god that both fighters hang 'em up.

i might have gotten the magazines reversed, but still. its skrewed up that ANYONE should be trying to get gatti to fight on. He isnt very far past his prime, but hes takin so many beatings that its gonna show eventually.

and vargas should retire as well. for him. its not so bad. he still has some winable fights, but he has also taking some beatins

i think gatti should keep fightin, he has more left in his tank then vargas, vargas should quit skills not there, back hurts, etc...gatti looked freshed but just got beaten by baldomir, plain and simple... gatti can go backdown fight the winner of hatton urango, vivian harris, the winner of corley-witter and those are fights i think theyll all be interested in...vargas cant go up in weight cause hell get ktfo by taylor, abraham or miranda and maybe even ktfo by wright but if not definately dominated for 12 rounds, so vargas should hang them up, he looks worse then gatti even though gattis been through more wars vargas has been through beatings by heavy punchers, and the trinidad beatin was enough to make most fighters retire...

They both look like they're at the end of their ropes to me. Both similar cases of guys that went through something of a renaissance as far as revamping their skills is concerned, but could not deny their instincts and ended up slugging anyway. Gatti is just too physically fragile now and is guaranteed to break his right hand every fight, while Vargas just looked to have nothing whatsoever against Mosley. I'd say Vargas' ending looked more pitiful than Gatti; at least Gatti went out swinging.

that is so true. when I go to take a ****, I pick up a good copy of Ring Magazine so I can read how Taylor doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 p4p for beating Hopkins twice but now that he has a draw with Wright he's suddenly up there at #4 or some ****. BIASED BULL****

I agree with that. Ring magazine has consistently misplaced Taylor and Ricky Hatton to my knowledge in the last few rankings they've put out.
