This Years Ugliest, Most Dangerous Fights; Part 1

Ugly fights can happen when two opponents are mismatched by style but what I will focus on are fights mismatched by class and talent for the simple sake of building a record or getting a win. With the ever louder yells about the danger of our sport , the increasing costs of medicals for fighters, the ABC (Association of Boxing Commissions) screaming for states to meet the requirements that powerhouse boxing places such as Nevada, New York , and California have, and the effects of ring deaths on the public’s impression of the sport , you would think that mismatches are a thing of the past. But they occur in the top ten ranks across the world. [details]

I wonder why these fighters even take these fights. Even if their not scared, they should be smart. The commissions who sanction these fights should be investigated because fighters can seriously get injured or even die. Thats ****ed up.

Sad thing about the Mesi fight, Arkansas clubfight promoter Stacey Goodson used a former fighter of his, JD Chapman, to judge the fights, and used a trainer to one of his fighters, Oisin ***an, to referee the bout.

With him spouting off a match between JD and Mesi down the line, do you think even if Matthews lasted the 4 rounds, that he would've had any chance at a decision?
