He did get hit some but majority of the time was fighting defense. Best way to put it is he didn’t absorb as much punishment as we have seen him with other opponents. I’m guessing by masterclass he meant an outstanding boxing performance we had never seen in Valdez by no means was it a perfect one cause he did hit Berchelt two times in the back of the head but we saw newly developed skills with how he used his jab, footwork, creating angles

If Valdez wants the fight and Stevenson want it, it will happen.

They are promoted within do it’ll get made.

I have no doubt valdez wants it but his camp wont. Same reason canelo ducked monroe jr after he beat rosado

Sad but true! I find it weird that more fans don't realize that when a camp, boxer. promoter or fans say don'y fight x,y,z cause they are boring, they are sayng that the boxer diesn't have the skill to neutralize his opponent.

If you can't neutralize movement, get out of the sport simple as that of be a gate keeper.

                  Who am I protecting? Stevenson?

I'm pretty damn sure Eddy Reynoso will have Oscar Valdez fight the winner of Frampton/Herring and keep a bigger unification fight alive down the road. Carl Frampton will bring more money to the table in a very winnable fight for Valdez.

When Belchert got the Covid, Shakur was chomping at the bit to step in. Now, after Belchert got slept, it's, maybe next time. Shakur has been overmatched once, and he lost. He knows what time it is.
