Credit to Where Credit is Due

I've been watching Valdez for a long time. I've never seen him look this good. The Valdez that fought Marriaga a few years ago would have gotten KOd by Berchelt, but his game just looked so much better last night and it's very impressive coming off of the broken jaw. Credit to Valdez, but credit to Reynoso too for turning his career around.

I agree. He looked like a different fighter last night. Excellent game plan to defeat Berchelt. That’s something the Reynosos seem to master, knowing how to build a game plan for who they’re fighting

The best version of him I've seen also. He fought a great fight vs a very solid champion.

Yea, I wasn't gonna give the Reynoso credit for being elite trainers when they're lucky enough to have 1 great talent, but it's undeniable now with what they've done with Ryan Garcia, but even more with Valdez.

I'm curious to see how Andy Ruiz looks the next time he fights a good fighter

Great heart. Great chin. There were times where I thought Berchelt was gonna take it around but Valdez, the smaller guy, weathered the storm and probably as KO of the year already. I would love to see him fight Shakur.
