Went the way I thought it would Kelly looked good for a round or 2 with his flashy moves but the pressure was just too much Avanesyan is a good fighter rugged and durable with a decent punch after he upset the Spaniard twice I knew this would be a easier fight for him Kelly is a good fighter but he is not a huge puncher at world class level.

Avanesyan on a hell of a run, I'd like to see him in a title eliminator next. Guys like Lipinets, Abdukhakarov, Butaev would all be good opponents. He'd make a good opponent for Vergil Ortiz as well

For years on here I said I always wondered what Kelly was like when the flashy stuff isn’t working and the Ray Robinson fight give us some indication, and this one confirmed it.

It’s all well and good looking flashy and displaying talent in short bursts but it takes much more than that to get beyond this level
