Nelo vs Pac who has better boxing skills?

Weight, power, speed aside, who has better boxing skills between Pac-Man and Canelo Alvarez?

Pac fans might take this the wrong way, but, Pac is a rule breaker not a great example of one who stuck to boxing theory like it's the word of God.

When in boxing are you taught to trap a man in a corner or on the ropes then start bouncing around like this **** is kung fu thereby giving them an exit? Never. I may not have ams or pro experience but I've been to enough gyms and sparred enough to know no one teaches you to give away a trap. Pac does it and sometimes dudes do get away, but, Pac does it because he is so ****ing fast and powerful he can also catch a fool trying to get out using an opening Pac created.

That's why that fool struck with two hands. He's not really boxing. It's more like Boxing-Fu.

Edit - actually if Bill doesn't get here on his own I'll @ him so he'll speak on this because I bet he can explain it better. I know a little shotokan and that's about it, but Bill knows boxing and the fu's well.

On pure boxing and nothing else I give today's Canelo the edge. Over the years he has worked very hard to improve his boxing and has become one of the best boxers in the sport. He was not a great boxer in his young days when Mayweather boxed his ears off. But today he has become and excellent boxer both on offense and defense. Pacquiao is a bit wild and a hard attacker and he gets hit more than Canelo gets hit these days.

I agree with this, but Pac's footwork I still give him a big edge. Jab I give him the edge too.

Malignaggi was a better boxer than pac, barrera was a better boxer than pac, mayweather was a better boxer than pac, canelo was a better boxer than pac but pac was the greater fighter in all of them.
