I don't think it's right to rush to judgment. People have only been talking about the Porter fight since what, November? C'mon man, it's been 3 months. I'll tell you that a guy like Canelo is ducking Demetrius or Charlo because when they've been begging for a fight for TEN YEARS almost, you can't ignore it anymore. But 3 months is not the same as ten years. Fine, I guess you could say people thought it'd be a good fight in 2019 after the spence fight, so 1.5 years. But even that is a stretch since when does losing to a champ earn you a fight with another champ in the next fight? Can you think of win example.

Porter beat Formella in August. So to be fair to you I'll give you 6 months. Sometimes fights take time to negotiate, especially if you're fighting with different promoters and networks who have had a historical rivalry and tough time working together. That's still not long enough to tell me a guy doesn't want a fight. I give people a fair shake and don't rush to judge.

Crawford can't fight off ESPN unless someone else wins a purse bid. Porter can fight on ESPN.
