i like forbes, he is who i want to win the season, but he's moved up in weight and is one of the smaller guys there. so with his size against someone who has dropped down to fight at welterweight forbes is at a disadvantage, but skill wise i think he's the best on there and probably so do the contestants.

plus he got stunned for a split second in his win over freddy and had that been someone who was bigger and a better fighter than freddy, forbes would've had a heap of problems in the ring. forbes was getting hit pretty clean when he got out of his game plan. if he can stay focused and not get lured into ****ing he'll out box and out slick the rest of the guys and win the *****.

For what it was, I was impressed with his win. He showed a lot of his skills. But just not sure he can do that to the top fighters.

as pointed out he did have to move up in weight, and may have a problem with a huge guy like K-9 Bundrage. I mean we all saw what happened with the Mike Stewart/K-9 Fight.

You are a freaking idiot, why announce that in the title?

Not everybody gets it at the same time as the US.

I knew Forbes was going to win. He's been champion before too. So yea I was impressed. But I was even more impressed with the effort put up by Curiel. He showed a lot of heart in the fight.

true true, he said that he was off for 3 years or something like that. thats a big bite to chew. to have a long layoff and then step in with a former world champ who is still in contention for a belt. he was kind of in a bad spot, but he faired well and put up a good showing.

I missed the contender today but i did get to see Steve Forbes fight on the Mayweather-Mitchell undercard and i've been a fan ever since. I hope he wins the tourny.
