Sounds like Wilder - Fury 3 is back on. Bob starting to stir up the nest and put some fire back into an almost forgotten trilogy fight. They let the fight go cold....and people moved on...Bob trying to bring it back into the spotlight.

The BobFather is off base with the President Trump comments. Nonetheless, the excuse list:

1. My costume too heavy.
2. Breland’s fault for stopping it.
3. My water was spiked.
4. Anthony Dirrell was yelling STOP the fight to Breland and he listened. (Dirrell is trained by Sugar Hill, Fury’s trainer).
5. The glove is too loose when he jabbed (he might have a point on this one).
6. The trainer pulled his glove down so his fist can be where the strings are.
7. He hit me with an egg-weight that was hidden in his glove.
8. Hit me illegally behind the head and made me dizzy.
9. Referee Kenny Bayless was biased/unfair.
10. I had an injury coming into the fight and missed some training.
11. He scratched my eyes with his fingernails.

Let's not forget that Arum is likely just still salty that The Donald outsmarted him.

Arum recounted the story of how Trump “screwed him” out of $2.5 million dollars, during the George Foreman-Evander Holyfield promotion. Trump wanted to nix him providing the site, because the Gulf War broke out, and Arum asked what the heck that had to do with putting on a prize fight in New Jersey. Arum said that this one was a monster bout, did 1.6 million PPV buys…and him and Trump hashed out a deal, which came to $2.5 million less than had been in play before the Gulf War switcheroo.

So even back then - and that was a LONG time ago - Trump was thinking about America and the war while Arum just cared about profits and exploiting the situation.

The guy who has MORE money and constantly accused of greed, was willing to let it go in respect of a major war.

So I don't put much stock in Mr. Arum's statements on the matter.
