There's 53 countries in the Commonwealth yet not one none British champion right now. So why don't more African, Antipidean, Asian, Canadian & Carribean competitors get a chance? I'm sure that current lightweights Jacob Ng, Kye McKenzie, Kane Clarke, Brandon Ogilvie, Rajesh Kumar, Josh O'reilly or Ayanda Nkosi would all prove worthy challengers if given the chance. Just look at some of the champions from the past who have held this championship. Names such as Richard Commey, Barry Michael, Lester Ellis, Willie Toweel & that's just lightweights. Chuck in the likes of Trevor Berbick, Donovan Boucher, Larry Gains, Dick Tiger, Tommy Burns, Tony Mundine, Lionel Rose, Steve Molitor, Jimmy carruthers, Johnny Famechon, Duke Michah, Azuma Nelson, Ayub Kalute, Hogan "Kid" Bassey, Vic Toweel, Troy & Guy Waters, Bunny Stirling, Dave Sands ETC & it's apparent that this once major prodigious title needs a massive resurrection & shot in the arm!

Very interesting fight, McComb was already long as hell and now he's moving down to fight one of the tallest guys at 135. Curious to see how this fight plays out
