Can we remind the current boxing divas that . . . .

It took ODLH several championship wins against several tough opponents before he became a high PPV seller with high purses who can dictate his own terms to others . . .

Same goes for Floyd Jr - wins over Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, JLC, Corley, Gatti, and finally ODLH before becoming that 8 figure purse fighter

Same goes for Pacquiao - titles in flyweight, jr feather, feather weight before becoming a star at jr WW and WW.

And now Canelo - he did the same and is still now doing it now and is currently the boxing's main attraction.

My point is a lot of currently self-proclaimed "boxing star" or "A-side) has not done enough compared to these fighters I mentioned but feels they are comparable to them - demanding purses wayyy above their market value.

Though I always root for a Canelo loss, I admire his plan to fight more in ayear (1 or 2 championhips, with 1 or 2 stay busy). As fans, we want fights inside the ring, not on Twitter.

Oscar was super hyped in the Olympics though with the story of his mother. Add to that he was a handsome devil, he didn't get there purely on wins, he had a great story too.

Sadly there are boxers and there are boxing celebrities today. We have more boxing celebrities than boxers.

Spence had been in with Brook, Porter, Mikey Garcia and Danny Garcia
Keith has been in with Porter, Danny Garcia, Pacquiao.

It makes sense they should fight next.
Crawford is irrelevant in that mix until he joins the pbc.

If a fighter sells tickets/ppvs, that’s all that matters. Unfortunately fighters/managers these days use it as an excuse to avoid the fights everyone wants to see.

              My wife thinks he’s pretty

I think Ward would whoop his azz.

My mother thought he was handsome too, she angrily insisted he was Irish when I told her he was from Mexico and when she heard his post fight interview in Spanish just shook her head and shuffled off in confusion.

TBH, other than Pacquiao, those are not murderers row - or at least not comparable to what ODLH, FMJr, and PAc faced prior to becoming boxing's star.

And this is not about Spence and Crawford only.

Why? Is joining the PBC an accolade of its own?
