Is it just me or did anybody gain respect for Warrington simply based on how he lost? Dude's legs were gone and he was getting tagged with big shots but he never stopped trying to take Lara out.

    Probably rewatch this later.

He's a warrior. Can question his skill level or his tactics but not his heart or spirit.

He has always been an absolute warrior, but last night it was clear right from the opening bell he was not remotelly right. I doubt we will hear what the problem was though, he has too much class to make excuses.

Yeah dude, I just watched it actually. Warrington was upset and that does mean he takes a hit but I still really like this kid and wish him the best. He's a lion.

Could be a positive side-effect of Wilder's post loss statements. I'm sure the entire industry is more leery of making excuses and being unilaterally picked on for them.

I did not gain respect for him because I already knew he was a brave fighter. I lost respect for his ability because he was knocked out by a guy who is not that good. He is not as good as he was thought to be by many. He tried his best and fought bravely but his best was not good enough.
