Hell yeah good for you champ! I’m sure plenty of promoters and tv en****** will be happy to meet your terms, don’t let old ass bob play you. Don’t let him shelf you like he likes to do either. Out bobs old aaa I’m a take it or leave it situation... if he meets your expectations good if not next simple as that you’ve earned it champ!!Comment

U didn’t understand the article. He didn’t say he’s leaving. Just that he doesn’t mind the fight going to purse bid which may take it to another network.
When Lopez won his IBF title a 2 year extension kicked in along with a pay raise which is standard with any promotional contract. That’s on top of the 5 year contract he signed in 2016 after the Olympics so at the earliest he can leave is late 2023. Top Rank is offering his contract minimum so he can’t get out of the contract.
He’s had a couple injuries too so his contract may even go later for the time missed.Comment

That was initially their plan but look at Australia’s approach to COVID and their recent lock downs? Can’t see that fight happening given what’s happened there recentlyComment

This here is an ignorant person when it comes to Boxing and even business for that matter.......pbc is forsale , the fox and cbs contracts are up in smoke and the last leg for haymon is showtime.....Do your research, but then again if you have no business acumen and are a fangirl of haymon and punks like that you wont see it......comedy gold with these clowns....I really enjoy reading the commentsLast edited by TexasCowBoy; 02-14-2021, 03:46 PM.Comment

He talk big for a guy who arguably lost the last 5-6 Rds in the fight that he claims made him a star.
I had the fight a draw so the so-called "take over" is yet to come .
The guy had 1 big fight that's it, apart from the Commey fight.
Lopez fought scared the last 5-6 Rds vs Lomachenko, nothing special about him. Both Tank and Haney will punish him, Tank by KO and Haney by UDComment

THAT is actually a fair question. The answer to that is gonna also impact the future of free fights on tv going forward. All boxing fans should pay attention.
Many of us are living off of money made long before the pandemic. Millions of jobs have been lost or interrupted. The future of all the pay/streaming services MAY be impacted at some point in the future ... or maybe the under $10 a month model becomes the only sustainable model.
There are lots of questions and changes coming down the road due to the impact of the pandemic. There is a legitimate question as to if there will ever be the large crowds at spectator events again ...Comment

LOL You wish that PBC was dying. They have the smartest business model out there. Remember it was PBC who first brought boxing back to regular TV. Guess who copied that model by going to ESPN....that's right TOP Rank. Top Rank is only with ESPN because HBO went by the wayside. You never hear PBC fighters complaining about money. LOL
You guys need to educate yourself about how the boxing game works. People get mad at PBC why because they fight the fights with the fighters under the PBC banner when TOP Rank does the EXACT same thing only worse. A PBC fighter just fought a Golden Boy fighter last night. Castano vs Texierra - PBC won of course. Stop knocking people because they're smart with the business side.
PLEASE NAME ME ONE PBC FIGHTER COMPLAINING ABOUT MONEY???? I CAN NAME SEVERAL FROM TOP RANK
DON'T HATE THE FIGHTERS HATE THE GAME.Comment
