Mayorga taking pretty much 7 1/2 full rounds of power shots from Trinidad before crumbling in the 8th?
Castillo taking 10 rounds of power shots from Corrales before having his head almost knocked off?
Morales taking 10 rounds of punishment from Pacquiao before going down?
Basically, whose chin held up the best considering the competition? Trinidad, Corrales, and Pacquiao are probably three of the hardest punchers p4p of all time, which makes their opponents' stands against them that much more incredible. Nevermind how good their chins have been since those defeats (only Mayorga has fought and went down a couple times to De La Hoya's speed while Castillo's chin seems to have remained intact). But which of those fights had you thinking, WHAT IS IT GONNA TAKE TO STOP HIM?
For me, it has to be Castillo taking all those punches from Corrales before getting rocked for the first time in his career in the 9th and getting stopped in the 10th although Mayorga's stand against Trinidad was amazing to watch as well.
I agree with Castillo. The guy is like a piece of iron. I dont think he's ever been floored and seriously hurt.
Second would probably be Mayorga. Taking flush shots for 8 rounds against Tito was amazing. Tito is an accurate puncher and hit Mayorga clean every time.
Morales like Castillo is also like a piece of iron, although past wars and father time is catching up. I think he got wobbled in the first MAB fight a bunch of times too.
