Ruiz vs...Chris Arreola NEXT?

Arreola looked as good as he could against Kownacki - honestly, he looked slim (for him) and his punches were more compact, his concentration level stayed for the whole fight too, I really liked that...seemed like he really put an effort for that one.

Ruiz has already accomplished more than Arreola and is more talented to me..... but on the whole, Arreola has been where Ruiz is right now - questions about his dedication, letting down fans and such. They have to make this fight at some point so yeah why not now.

It's a business fight that works for everyone. It's a big fight in Southern California, an easy comeback for Ruiz, and a well-deserved little payday for Chris, was was grossly underpaid in his career. Probably the most underpaid guy relative to his name recognition and quality TV fights he was in all of modern boxing.

For what I mean... Chris made $100k against Stiverne in the rematch and $150k against Wilder. Making that little in heavyweight title fights is just insane.

To be fair, he doesn't seem to get seriously damaged no matter who's across.

I just think it's a bad get back for Ruiz. Fight Charles Martin, or Breezy.
