Ellis' corner should probably pull him out, or the referee needs to step in if this keeps up

    Edit: ninjaed by real life

Smith is a heavy handed, natural counter puncher. Looked good again, only thing I'd like to see more of is punching in combination, he's lots of 1's and 1-2's right now, but that's nitpicking. Would like to see him fight someone like Adam Hague or Steve Brogan next. I'd give him about 1 or 2 more fights at area level and then move onto English. He should fight 4 to 6 times this year, needs to be kept very active

Appleyard is a big step up if that is actually his next fight. That would be a nice win at this stage

British title on the line at 126 next. 23-2 Leigh Wood vs 13-0 Reece Mould. Wood is good, legit British level, probably European level honestly. Haven't seen Mould before, but he's young and undefeated. I'm thinking Wood should win this one comfortably, but we'll see

Wood boxing well, some very nice jabs, 2-0. Don't think Mould is having as much success as the announcers are making it sound
