    Remember Welterweight contender Kip Diggs?

I occasionally pull a tape from the stash of hundreds and look at it on a slow night reminiscing about the past. Yesterday I pulled a tape I had used back in September of 96. This was the Tyson/seldon card and the week following, all aftermath documenting 2pac murder on news outlets. That same month Kip Diggs ko'd Curtis Peoples(1 of only 3 kos in his entire career). He was on the undercard of Tony Martin as they were setting up a rematch due to Martin knocking him out previously and giving him his first loss. After losing to Martin again, he fought Derrell Coley on TNF as well and was beating the hell out of Coley to the point that had it been stopped, no one would have complained. he knocked him down a few times. Then late, Coley caught him, hurt him bad, and eventually ended the fight in a come from behind victory. That was basically it for Diggs being a contender from that point.

The reason I'm posting this is that I decided to google Kip Diggs because i was a fan in the 90s. So I kept getting a politician and I thought, "this can't be the guy I'm looking for", so I clicked on one of the links and it's him..

I hate politicians of all parties, but I'm happy to see a boxer leave the ring with most of his brain cells intact and find another profession. It just made my day.

Cool sh^t & yea I remember watching some Kip Diggs fights back in the day. And I'm always a fan of learning what boxers do post-boxing specifically when its excelling in other fields like Kip is apparently doing KOing an incumbent.

I see Skipper Kelp on one of those tapes too.

Skipper is the President & COO of a CBD company out here in Las Vegas.
