AJ was on pins & needles for that rematch and it’s obvious he hasn’t mentally recovered yet. His handlers are looking to either win big ($$$$) or lose big ($$$) VS Fury b/c Joshua is fragile and a sitting target for an aggressive opponent, even if it’s Andy Snickers Ruiz.

Tou could say that and it would look right. His body is too much out of proportion for quick smooth movements, making him look ungainly when he's under pressure. Like a Meccano set creation, if yu recall what Meccano was. Don't know if it's still around but it was great stuff for kids. Rellly first class.

I read a report on this site a day or two ago which said he was in training and had lost 25 lbs already. He looked good , but I don't know when THAT picture was taken. You know how sneaky reporters are.

The third fight must happen, because they are 1-1.

As pure competitor Joshua will know, that the saga between him and Ruiz Junior is not over etc
Lewis was a far more experienced fighter at that point. The more accurate comparison would be the Oliver McCall rematch where he, like Joshua, boxed cautiously until McCall had his episode. Bear in mind that Joshua took an immediate rematch while Lewis did not.

That said, with the score at 1-1 there ought to be a rubber match.

Fury needs to knock Klitschko out. He only beat him in an absolute 7 punches per round stinkfest then bottled out of the rematch twice, whereas AJ stretched his neck like a Giraffe and stopped him.

Let Ruiz earn the third fight first. He needs to do more than just lose weight to do that, he needs to get back in the mix and rise back up in the pecking order.

Lewis was not fighting cautiously vs Oliver McCall in rematch 'He did not even get out of first gear' he was boxing a calm fight.

Joshua to a certain extent seemed petrified when he was in exchanges with Ruiz Junior 'But fair enough, he walked straight back into that fight and got the win'.

If Joshua would of had a few fights in-between before rematch, I think he would of fought Ruiz Junior differently 'I have always thought that he was over-trained for that fight'.

I expect Joshua's conditioning to change slightly for his up and coming fights, he was in my opinion over-trained for Ruiz Junior II 'Or at-least his training philosophy was way off'.

Then if he KO's Ruiz people would come up with another requirement. It never really ends. Joshua just needs to focus on what makes the most sense which right now is fighting Fury for all the belts and the #1 spot.

Winning the rematch was part 1 of his recovery process.

Knocking Pulev out has also helped more of his recovery process.

Joshua to his credit is facing this issues center stage.

The only reason why fighters these days are all calling for Joshua, is because they all think he is vulnerable 'A few years ago, neither Fury or Wilder wanted to mess around with Joshua'.

This new vulnerable image of his, has actually in some ways took some pressure off him.

Tyson Fury should win their fight easy, Fury for the first time ever is favorite going into a big fight at elite level.
