Should be fined 50%. With 100% of that fine going towards the guy who busted his ass making weight. The commissions shouldn’t get a penny from fighters missing weight.

Lack of discipline, no one to blame but himself.

Diaz all day with the added weight advantage. He is just a bit short on the outside fight. If its a booth fight he should get it. How about you?

Penalty is not enough apparently. Start taking a larger % of purses for those who miss weight.
If you take too much you just get guys calling off fights for fake injuries or other reasons which means more folks lose money besides the guy who can't make weight.

Probably can go higher than 20% doe. And I agree 100% of the penalty money, whatever % it is, should go to the other boxer who made weight.

I think it'd be better if they give guys some heads up if they are worried about weight. If you know you can't make weight or worried about it you can let the other side know within x days & you give up x% of your purse & then the other guy can stop killing himself to make weight to & they can agree on a new number. If you don't give the other side a heads up within that timeframe than your penalty is 2x or 3x the heads up penalty cuz you made the other guy grind down to the weight. In the case of a title fight like this one I think you still let the other guy make weight to win the belt, but in most fights with no belts or who gives a sh^t belts you don't gotta make weight.

I had Diaz winning a clear dec but coming overweight I've gone with the, he hasn't had a good camp therefore he could gas and be sloppy.
                    I changed to Rakhimov ko/mid.

I agree with what your saying about telling the opposition about your weight but you have to consider in many dudes cut weight at the last minute and in terms of telling the opponent well the dude trying to make weight, without a pro dude helping out they always feel like they could shed the necessary pounds anyway possible.
