JCC is nowhere near top 5 dude, come on man. Manny can't hold Floyd's jockstrap. Manny was positioned against all the big names he fought when they directly had big losses and/or made them drain. Hell, they tried to drain Floyd to 140. Choose to ignore the facts, you a fan of Manny or dksab.

Manny started at a much lower weight than Floyd. Manny a better version of Cotto and JMM and he clearly beat DLH.

Manny is suspect for PEDs, absolutely, but nothing was ever proven.

The Floyd Manny fight was close. People joke it was a 12-0 shutout but it was very far from that. I had it 8-4 but, yes, Floyd won the fight. Both fighters were past prime.

Manny always had fits with JMM but Floyd manhandled him. Floyd almost got sparked by Mosley and Manny was never touched. Floyd had his hands full with DLH and Manny sparked him.

Just because Floyd beat Manny head-to-head doesn't mean he's the greater fighter.

And I get what you're saying. ALL of Manny's work above 135 occurred under advantageous circumstances but Manny still had to go out and do his thing...and he did.

Just because someone thinks Manny had the better career doesn't mean they're ONLY a fan of Manny and NOT of Floyd. Both these guys are ATGs...I'm happy as hell I got to watch them both. I blame Manny for the fight not happening in 2009. Canelo would've killed Manny at any time...styles make fights.

The most important aspect of this announcement is the 40 mill price tag, they couldnt make the fight when Manny wanted 20 mill so what makes you think the fight is going to happen now at twice the cost, at that time TC wanted 10 mill and they said no, this time TC can have his 10 but now Manny wants 40 ,.

Fight cannot happen with those numbers, go back to the 20 mill 10mll and fight gets made .

May as well throw GGG back in the mix because I cannot see any of them paying Manny 40 mill in the current environment .

I see the likes of Spence TC not being made on money terns and Manny fighting somebody like Mikey for waaaaaay less.

The problem with Tyson that you cannot get around (without having to go through a tortuous exercise in special pleading) is that he got KTFO by journeyman Buster Douglas when he was approaching 24 years old. You can say but this, but that, but look at when... But you cannot get around he wasn't good enough to beat Buster Douglas who had 4 Ls on his record at that point.

The really good guys that Tyson beat were Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks. Holmes was born in the 1940s... He was 38 at the time, had been out of the ring for nearly two years and was coming off back-to-back losses. Let's agree it wasn't the hardest time to fight Holmes. Spinks, meanwhile, was a brilliant LHW. That says it all.

And, of course, Tyson got owned by a whole range of people later on. Being owned by junk fighters late in his career is just unfortunate and doesn't weigh that much on his rep, but being owned by Holyfield is of significance.
