What are you even going on about?

Manny started at a much lower weight than Floyd. Manny a better version of Cotto and JMM and he clearly beat DLH.

Manny is suspect for PEDs, absolutely, but nothing was ever proven.

The Floyd Manny fight was close. People joke it was a 12-0 shutout but it was very far from that. I had it 8-4 but, yes, Floyd won the fight. Both fighters were past prime.

Manny always had fits with JMM but Floyd manhandled him. Floyd almost got sparked by Mosley and Manny was never touched. Floyd had his hands full with DLH and Manny sparked him.

Just because Floyd beat Manny head-to-head doesn't mean he's the greater fighter.

Manny started at a much lower weight and is still winning meaningful fights years after Floyd retired. The Thurman win is meaningful. If Manny beats Crawford...that's very meaningful.

And I get what you're saying. ALL of Manny's work above 135 occurred under advantageous circumstances but Manny still had to go out and do his thing...and he did.

Just because someone thinks Manny had the better career doesn't mean they're ONLY a fan of Manny and NOT of Floyd. Both these guys are ATGs...I'm happy as hell I got to watch them both. I blame Manny for the fight not happening in 2009. Canelo would've killed Manny at any time...styles make fights.

He doesnt fear mentioning them and most of the time it does not translate into fighting them, you are buying a marketing ploy .

The most important aspect of this announcement is the 40 mill price tag, they couldnt make the fight when Manny wanted 20 mill so what makes you think the fight is going to happen now at twice the cost, at that time TC wanted 10 mill and they said no, this time TC can have his 10 but now Manny wants 40 ,.

Fight cannot happen with those numbers, go back to the 20 mill 10mll and fight gets made .

May as well throw GGG back in the mix because I cannot see any of them paying Manny 40 mill in the current environment .

I see the likes of Spence TC not being made on money terns and Manny fighting somebody like Mikey for waaaaaay less.

Lets see who he fights before he fears no man, pricing yourself too high is a very easy way to say no .

The really good guys that Tyson beat were Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks. Holmes was born in the 1940s... He was 38 at the time, had been out of the ring for nearly two years and was coming off back-to-back losses. Let's agree it wasn't the hardest time to fight Holmes. Spinks, meanwhile, was a brilliant LHW. That says it all.

And, of course, Tyson got owned by a whole range of people later on. Being owned by junk fighters late in his career is just unfortunate and doesn't weigh that much on his rep, but being owned by Holyfield is of significance.
Holyfield ranks much higher than Tyson,Facts

They wont work on an elite southpaw like Crawford. When is the last time Pac even fought a decent southpaw let alone elite. Crawford is going to see his straight left coming from a mile away no matter how tricky he tries to disguise it and have a right hook(Crawford's best punch) waiting to greet it.

They keep falling for the okie-doke.

              Floyd rematch

              Khan

              Mikey Garcia

              Crawford

              McGregor

              Spence

              Ryan Garcia

              Crawford again

How many times do we have to keep going through this cycle of okie-doke before people see through it?

lol. Pac has face every style. The better question is when was the last time bud face an above average boxer let alone an elite legend. if Crawford was having a hard time against gamboa who is so much inferior than pac in everything then he will befuddled in the ring once he face pac.

He should make Spence Vs Crawford fight each other and tell them the winner fights him. They want the money fight well....earn it.

And in the mean time Manny will fight a B grader waiting for the big one, have you not heard this song before.

All the B graders Manny has fought came of the back of a story just like this one.

First law in Marketing, have a story that hooks interest.

I will believe it when it's confirmed. Fighters always throw names around, but when it's a different story when signing a contract.
