He's trying to grow the sport. He's been told many times you can't stage fights in Miami (see youtube) and get a crowd and maybe he will fail horribly and you can laugh at him but at least he's trying.

I'd also like to see Canelo fight in other countries ... like you know other sports would do.

More important, Canelo is 30 years old and is about to unify the 168 division. The exact same thing that Calzaghe did, the same thing Crawford did at 140.
Now, those accomplishments may not mean shït to you but they carry a lot of weight historically.

Lastly, Canelo has some solid wins on his resume and is actually building on his resume. I can’t say I’m a big fan of his bit I can certainly and unbiasedly give credit where it’s due.
