Wilder is not a quality win, no way.
You might had missed the first Fury/Wilder fight when Fury got knockdown a couple of times even at the last round.

Wilder lacks in a lot of departments but that power is legit and it is there until the final bell. That has to be recognized.

Both were ranked top 5 by Ring, TBRB and any other respectable ranking system.

Those are just your opinions, likely influenced by the fact you dislike Wilder. I think the guy’s a fool too, but he’s an extremely dangerous HW with quality accolades.

The facts show it was a quality win. Fury #1 with Ring #2 with TBRB defeated Wilder #2 with Ring, #1 with TBRB. Wilder was also 41-0 with 40 KO’s and and had made 10 defences of his title. Facts are facts...

Completely agree guys. Like him or not you can’t deny what he’s achieved.

I’m a big Bivol fan but I wouldn’t say either of those guys represent quality wins.

Neither have won world titles yet for Smith at least who I expect to pick up the WBO strap when he eventually fights Vlasov.

                Fair enough.

Maybe I just like Smith enough that when I saw Bivol completely dismantle him I thought, "Dang. That was a heck of a win."

I was thinking Inoue with Donaire and Narvaez but after checking again Narvaez was older at the time than I remembered him being so maybe the win is not as good as I remember.

Russell has held a world title for 5 years making 5 defences and Linares is a 4 weight 5 time champion. I think they’re two quality wins.

I’d agree both guys are below the truly elite fighters but they were still quality wins.

I debating adding that one myself. Narvaez looked like an old man in that fight though.
