None of the titlists have shown interest in facing him, and he's also coming off an injury. I think Nakatani is a respectable opponent. The height/length difference should make it interesting, and Naka takes a good shot.

Amazing fight, but it will not happen next, or ever.

Top Rank is just keeping their names out there. Loma needs a tune up before this fight. He doesn't have the power to keep Nakatani honest. I wanted something like this more:

      Davis-Nakatani
      Loma-Verdejo

I'll donate 100,000 points to one person if this fight is next. I'm seeing Loma-Verdejo or someone else, maybe Commey.

I like it. Loma needs to fight SOMEONE & Nakatani deserves a bigger fight.

          Nakatani isn't very good.

Why is this such an amazing matchup that it won't happen?

Nakatani isn't unbeatable. I picked him to beat Felix but he had a harder time doing it than I expected. Loma is far more slicker than Felix. This is probably a 70/30 Loma leaning fight.

Technically right, but not overall. Nakatani is a good fighter. I say he's better than anyone Loma can fight now, except Davis. His heart is something else. The guy is also huge and powerful.

Bad style for Loma, coming from a loss and 'injury.' Nakatani sent a message to the division with his last fight. Yes, skills pay the bills. In this case, Loma's skills won't be enough.

Loma, like Wilder, isn't that well mentally (after all the controversy) and coming from a sad loss and injury, if it's true. He needs a confidence builder. Meanwhile, Nakatani is coming from his best victory ever.

Maybe after Loma wins a fight.

Nakatani has heart and is tough as hell but he's getting beat up here. Verdejo was lighting him up in stretches but he couldn't keep it up. Lomachenko won't have stamina issues like Verdejo.

Not mad at this fight though, he's not getting Lopez next so why not?
