Nakatani deserves this fight and it makes sense for a Loma comeback fight.

And I agree mentally Loma didn't deal with this L well, but there are still levels to this. Loma has far more tools than Deontay. I think both guys fell into guys prepared to beat them like no one they've faced before, but Deontay lives & dies with the confidence he needs two perfect seconds in a fight to win & Loma strives for perfection all night.
We can bet points if it happens without Loma having a tune up first. I'm willing to bet all my points on Nakatani.

    That's Verdejo's problem. It wasn't a 5-round fight.

Garcia and Haney would be easier for Loma than Nakatani. I consider Haney and Garcia contenders.

Loma can't make 130 as I keep telling people. He'll stick to 135.

Nakatani isn't unbeatable. I picked him to beat Felix but he had a harder time doing it than I expected. Loma is far more slicker than Felix. This is probably a 70/30 Loma leaning fight.

He just lost pretty handily. And Tanaka is not a walk in the park. Only seen him two times, vs Verdejo and Lopez and he didn’t look like an easy opponent. All fighters of all levels, even elite, are allowed a “comeback” fight after a loss. But still, Nakatani is not an easy comeback fight. It’s not like he’s a Steve Rolls level opponent.

Ehhh well see. Arum and his typical bs. Haney should take this fight if queen Ryan and Fortuna avoid him
