Better than Ouma, and I dont recall anytime in the recent past Duddy getting the living **** out of him by a no-name type fighter like Karmazin was until the Ouma fight.
duddy hasn't beat anyone. he has less than 20 fights for christs sake.
He has beaten every fighter he has faced at 154 since 2004 (outside of the Karmazin escapade) very convicingly. That includes a very tough ex-champ in Phillips, several top fifteen rated contenders like Jantuah and Rubio, and he just thoroughly beat a very highly regarded prospect in Powell. Not major accomps, but solid stuff.
He also has exposure, an exciting style, and a nice background story. He's a charismatic guy...people want to see him fight. He's also suited for Jermain (in that hes smaller and doesn't pack a big punch).
I'd say its as good a fight as any to be made if the Wright rematch is being bumped until later.
Phillips Jantuah Rubio
Not exactly world beaters. Phillips is the best of them and he's always been used as a step up fight type guy.

Ouma's resume might not be spectacular.... but what does that make Duddy's then? His biggest fight is about to be against a 35 year old and quite weathered Campas.

There isn't much desparity in the level of opposition between Duddy and Ouma. Especially consdiering Ouma got beaten badly 2 fights ago by a guy who was previously a no-name.

It's funny you put it like that (incorrectly too, Ouma has won 4 fights since his bout with Karmazin). If Karmazin was a "nobody" and then beating Ouma turned him into a "somebody", what does that say about Ouma?
I'll answer for you, it clearly means Ouma is something bigger than you'll acknowledge if somebody beating him suddenly turns that person into a big name contendor.
Duddy is a pressure fighter, and Campas is far too old to handle someone like him.
Regardless of what McKay might have you believe, Duddy has beat no one of note and was featured on PPV as an undercard fighter against extremely limited opposition. While I like watching Duddy fight, he has done nothing to even be considered for a title shot. Even an aged Campas is a big step up from the level of competition he has fought so far.
McKay, let the kid develop. Yes, he might be able to beat Taylor with his pressuring, high volume style, but he is not nearly ready to fight for and retain a belt against the top tier of the middleweight division. Give him a few more fights, each a step up, and let him develop the skills he will need to keep a belt once he earns it.

I didn't say they were. They are solid fighters, no more, no less. Phillips was a title holder at 154 and was in the top 5-10 fighters at 154 year in and year out. He is a big test for anyone as his record does NOT do him justice.
