    the contender fights

the stevie forbes v. freddy curiel fight was damn good fight. I don't know if Curiel is going to be the same this was probably his toughest fight, while Forbes has had other tough fights besides this one. I knew Forbes was good but hes got some damn nice skills. Good fight.

the nick acevedo v. jeff fraza was good too, but i think acevdo had too much experiance as with forbes who hat too much experiance over curiel.

I think Curiel and Fraza both got great experiance in the ring by being in with these top fighters. Im interested to see their career after the contender see how they will do.

    Forbes is so skillfull.
Had that fight been 12 rounds, what Forbes is used too, he would have swept it, and probably stopped Curiel.
Forbes reminded me of a orthodox joel casamayor.

Fraza vs Acevedo was awesome, but Acevedo was just too sharp.
Jeff had 2 very good rounds against a better fighter, though.

Forbes looked good, but Cruiel stunned him in a round, and i think won 1 or 2 rounds, damn good fight. Cureil showed a lot of heart to stand up to some of Forbes flush punchs. Damn good fight. Freddy Curiel was doing a Johnny Tapia, he was waving his hands and getting the crowd to yell even more and Forbes that step in uppercut was somthing between of Augustus and Jersey Joe Walcott sneaky punch, defently got Rays attention.

Acevedo I thought looked really good too for the first two rounds, then he got tired or didn't want to force a stoppage but Fraza had a never quiet attitude, but again Acevido had too much experince.

Nexts show is going to be baddass. Nick Acevdo v. Steve Forbes. #1 v. #1, I thought these two would fight in the main event but damn, they are pitting them in the next show, its going to be classic. This fight right here is a B.A.D HBO type of fight. Both have good skills. Acevido started at 140, Forbes at 130 but Forbes has that Championship caliber experinace. Going to be a damn good fight. I hope they show all the rounds, cause espn would be dumb not too.

I also like how they show almost all the rounds in this show, both fights were action packed.

It was a Forbes win but Forbes knew he was in a fight, I forget which round but he stunned Forbes. But Forbes was just too much, that what you call a complete fighter. Maybe im over doing it, but he showed a lot of talent against a willing fighter.

Don't under-estimate Acevido I picked him to win the whole thing and still do. Acevido is tough. And i think his fight with Vince Phillips will help him out with this one, cause it is going to be a dog fight. Both guys are really skilled fighters and both can mix it up, but i think Acevido carries the better power.
