He's counting the money Canelo paid him for the 'draw' and 'loss'

Don’t feel sad the LDBC are being pushed out of the scene. They’ll be left to talk about Rap, rocks, lean, etc... by the way, they do when they can’t talk about Spence, Charlos, or Wilder anymore

He has a tough style for his age. But he is still one of the biggest names in boxing.

golovkin is 38. and that's just a calendar. 350 amateur fights, 40+ pro fights, and all the while blocking shots with the hard parts of his forehead.

golovkin is on the back nine physically and he's making up for the fact that his front nine was spent largely in obscurity because he boxed amateur for so long. right now he is cashing out and i fully expect him to be maneuvered accordingly. keep him away from young punchers, outright bigger guys, and guys who are too fast, make sure he's in fights that make him look good, and look for one last big payday against canelo alvarez.

how long did people expect a leaky puncher with 350 amateur figthts in his late 30's to be able to go to the well? he's going to press on the gas one night and there will be absolutely nothing there. it will be when his chin finally gets cracked. we will see him go down, hurt, and stopped. he is that kind of fighter. he has no other way to fight. never once seen him clinch to clear his head, use the ring, box a round to get his way back into the fight.

You've not been paying attention then. He moved around to recover from Derevyanchenko's bodyshot. And boxing is basically all he does at this point.

Golovkin still has his jab do he's going to be competitive against any of the top fighters. I thought he out boxed Canelo in the rematch using his jab primarily and landing hard power shots when he had an opening.

Excactly that, and it's a crying shame they held him back. He should have been let loose much earlier. I remember when I first saw him, he was like 30 years old. I thought with that face he couldd've been 23. He could've spent his 20's building a reputation instead of using his 30's to do so. A damn shame because he would've been great for the sport. Great style, flashy power, fun and good looking. Why the hell do you end up with 350 amateur fights. Why didn't he go pro before that?! Who held him back and why?
