A Good Solider Never Leaves a Man Behind

I am not a big Deontay Wilder supporter, I am neutral on most fighters.
The last real fighter, who I supported 'And would be devastated if he lost was? David Haye.
But I highly dislike how Wilder's character has been defamed since he lost to Tyson Fury ' Some people on this site genuinely believe that Fury beat Deontay Wilder into submission' there is also some really weird incessant campaign in boxing circles where? People are continually going on as if Fury vs Wilder II was the most horrific brutal fight in history.
Month after month in the aftermath of the fight, the legend of that fight as grown. To the point where Tyson Fury now believes he is the second coming of Mike Tyson.
Deontay Wilder was having a really tough time, yes and he was being beaten in every department by Tyson Fury. But even under those conditions, Deontay Wilder never gave up on himself 'He did not give up inside of the ring'.
Fury vs Wilder II was not amateur fight, it was a war for the heavyweight Championship of the world. For a large period of the 20th century, the heavyweight title was the single greatest achievement any single man could achieve in sports.
Dorian Yates a six times Mr Olympia body building champion, once stated that? He felt as if he concurred physical reality, when he became champion. Once upon a time, the heavyweight world boxing champion, was the singular athlete and man who stood on top of the world.
A WBC world Heavyweight Champion of 5 years, who was still trying and can change a fight in a instant 'In my opinion should not of been pulled out of the fight'. Fury vs Wilder was no amateur fight, honor and reputation was on the line 'Sometimes you just have to let things go, you just have to let a fight go until the end'.
Note: Mark Breland did nothing wrong, the only thing he was guilty of was caring. I understand why he stoppled the fight, but my personal belief is that it should not of been stopped.Comment

Still a Wilder fan but I can't blame folks for not staying the course. Whether you believe him or not the way he's handled the Fury fights were poor. Almost no one criticizes him for it anymore but the fact is before Fury-Wilder, Deontay and all the LDBC followers of his all recognized Fury's lineal title as a legitimate claim to the throne. Then Deontay comes up with a draw and says the lineal title is a pretend title. Right or wrong makes no difference to me, I don't flip-flop. The Fury-Wilder II has a laundry lists of reasons for losing. To be honest I don't give a **** what's true or not, that's not something I respect. All Wilder had to say is Tyson Fury you ain't **** and I'll prove that next time. Defiance is something I like. Defiant to the end, long after all hope and reason are lost, that's fine, but there's a lack of strength in excuse making or reason telling. I like Deontay to speak strongly. Just tell me you promise you know what happened and you'll **** him up next time. Easy as, but Wilder ain't about that.
I'll always be a Wilder fan but this is his dark side. There's always something with every boxer I like a lot. Floyd's a GOAT except to those who hate his chronology. Jack Dempsey's a mankiller except his resume is a bit ****. Marciano proved an average sized male can put more energy into their fist than most handguns at point blank, but plenty feel like he beat up a few old'uns and called her a night on his career. Jack Johnson is a damn fine man to be inspired by, dreadfully selfish though. On and on, ain't no one perfect. I can be a Wilder fan and acknowledge he's been a bit of a crybaby since his loss.Comment

Maaaaaaan, great response!Him being champ again literally does nothing to speak for his character. The man has left you behind with those excuses by not manning up and what has seemed like a loyal man in his corner.
I’m (unfortunately?) still a fan as a fighter and a fellow American and cant help the bias but in terms of “last laugh”...yeah, no. We’re honestly the jokes for supporting him at this point. Even if he reaches the peak again, what laugh are we getting? This has been a monumental breakdown with excuses and scummy behavior.
Getting the last laugh here is like making an actual turd you’re given to eat taste good. Yeah...your piece of s hit tastes like steak and potatoes....but still eating a turd...best case scenario lmao
