Video, was Smith arm injury latest excuse from humbled ambitious champ

Smith & team claimed he had a ruptured Bicep or potentially broken arm. But as this video points out, that doesn't make sense........

So does Smith deserve shame in his performance based on arm injury that only started swelling in 8th rd from right hooks? Is Hearn lying to him about type of injury when it was just like face swelled bruises on his arm instead.(caused by punches unlike bicep tear)

Really it matters not, you could give Smith two bionic arms and he'd still get whooped. Levels.

By your logic, Cotto faked his injury vs Sadam Ali

The Smiths are always butthurt despite always making a fortune from being pretty limited boxers.

Didn't he say Canelo caused him to be unable to use his arm as he would have wanted to by repeatedly punching him there? That's not an excuse, it's not excusing his performance, it's just explaining what happened in the fight. Same as if someone caused you to be cut by punching you or caused you to be debilitated by hitting you with a good body shot. He has also said since that Canelo was just too good for him, the better man won etc.

I lost to a good fighter, if I lost to someone and thought, ‘You know what, I was better on the night, I’d have beat him’ it would probably kick at you but if I had 10 weeks’ notice and boxed my very best would the result be different,? No, I can’t guarantee that. He’s a good fighter, and being in with him he’s smart, he’s clever, and things you think you’d be able to do from the outside you get in with him and he takes it away from you. I’ve got no excuses.

Smith's injury was caused by Alvarez tactics.

Rough house tactics, jabs to the throats, hooks to the arms etc

I believe it was ether Tyson, Holyfield or Hopkins who would occasionally jab to the throat.

                  Pretty sure Canelo caused it

Even if not, don’t go into a fight injured if you have any real belief or desire to win. If you’re well enough to get in the ring and throw shots and take the money, then excuses are weak.

Lmao that "doctor" is absolute trash, doesn't know a thing about sports science or injuries. Guy probably never worked out or played a sport a day in his life.

Either way ******, Smith isn't making excuses, he knows he lost, it was a legit injury, he would have lost bad either way cuz he's a trash fighter who did nothing to deserve that fight.
