          Yeah, like when I fought at Heavyweight the limit was 201 but the heaviest I weighed was around 189-190. In the ams you will typically have guys all over, and not just AT the limit like in the pros. You will literally grow into your division.

            Ye in the pros weigh in at for example 146,159,167 etc.Its mostly HW that have guys all over

              Don't look at things like that. Everybody's body is different. It's weight class, not height class. Mike Tyson and Gennady Golovkin are the same height.

                Yeah, the depression was real for a while after that. I was about two weeks out from a tournament.

                  In 2003 I was in a Golden Gloves tournament in a novice division for the 152lbs class. They were so strict over the weight. If you were an ounce over they would make you move up. So 152 fighting 165lbs guy. Luckily I never had issues and saw people leave because of it. Also the people involved were some of the biggest azzholes Ive ever met. They say that in the pros its worse.
