How Do You Guys Score Boxing Matches ?

      I believe it was Max that said, who would have rather been that round.

      That is how I score. I have boxed long enough to know who got the better of someone in 99% of time. I don't give a **** if it is a fighter I grew up with in the amateurs or I have money on them to win. I keep it real when watching and scoring.

      The only thing that makes it difficult is when no one throws much or lands much in a round. I that instance I usually favor the one that was pressuring more. Since that is a tactic to wear down an opponent and I would be doing the pressuring then being pressured.

        Right I totally agree but what do you generally tend to lean more towards? Like obviously if it's 10 straight punches vs 1 power shot than you go with the 10 straight punches. How much more volume would have to off set cleaner punches?

            Pick the guy I like better, then look for every reason to give him the round.

              Very good post.

              Another thing I heard a long time ago that has played into my scoring is that you have to score each round as it's own individual fight
