Saunders is one of those guys who has a lot of natural ability, he has a feel of the ring that comes across when watching him. Similar background with Fury who also has the same trait imo. But, we've seen a lot of these guys and sometimes they don't work as hard at it because it comes to them easy...they look good some nights; on others they look lethargic and aloof.

At the same time though, despite looking poor at time they are also the ones who can dust themselves off and show up and perform at a high level.

I'm always reluctant to vouch for Saunders because he is clownish and inactive, he's had some forgettable performances but it's so hard to brush off his potential ceiling in a fight like this - he can box and he can have a grueling inside fight like he did vs Eubank, he's very fluid, he's has an edge to his attitude where he isn't going to be in awe of Canelo...it's a good style matchup, very interested in to see how Canelo does here

Benevidez might get a title shot quicker at 175 than he's go na at 168?

Yes, excellent points, I see Saunders being a very difficult night for Canelo.

Saunders good at looking cute but Canelo has seen it all. Just another day at work.

It all depends on what Saunders we get on fight night. Saunders tends to fight at the level of his opposition +1. Hopefully Canelo brings the best out of him and vice versa and we get to see an exciting fight. Saunders does not have the power to keep Canelo grounded but does he have GGG's chin? As long as he can stick and move and not become predictable so Canelo counters it should be relatively close. It may end up being another Canelo/Jacobs type of fight.

              I agree with Benavidez.

Saunders is a solid stick and mover. His rhythm is very natural and sustainable unlike Caleb Plant's for instance. He can see that he is not overthinking anything when he fights.

That said Saunders is lazy and shows up half in shape. The X factor is what is Saunders capable of when he actually trains like a champion.

I still say Canelo edges him out but I do see it being really close. Could be wrong though.
