Nothing to do with overlooking anyone. All to do with boxing ability. Povetkin set up and landed a very good punch. Whyte has never been an unhittable, defensive genius master boxer with an iron chin.

To be fair, I don't doubt Whyte in that. He came in looking in good shape, was boxing well and was definitely in charge. It looked like the fight was about to end in KO in favour of Whyte. The thing is though that when you're fighting a guy with power who's as experienced and well drilled as Povetkin, you only have to be outsmarted for a split second for it to all end in tears. It might seem unfair for all your hard work to unravel in an instant, but that's boxing.

I respect Whyte for saying her got knocked out and not making excuses. This will make him do better for the next fight. He should win but it doesn't mean that he will win.

Nice to see Whyte out of his induced coma.

I like Dillian, but he is a good step below the A-list.

Against AJ, a spot of early success soon soured.

Against Parker, a dominant win was nearly pissed away carelessly in the final minute.

The sturdy yet very predictable Chisora nearly out-hustled him.

Each of these fights points to the vulnerabilities in Dillian that the old Russian locksmith was able to pick.

The takeaway is that if you can withstand Dillian’s power, you are likely to catch him. Now we wait to see in what shape mentally the KO has left him.

It's called admitting you were beat fair and square on the night with no excuses. Would you rather he react to being stopped unexpectedly like Wilder did? FFS, what is wrong with people?
You are obviously a classless, sketchbag to make a ****** comment like that.

PS. How was Povetkin flabby? He looked good to me and furthermore, you don't need to be a musclebound charles atlas product to be a successful heavyweight. In fact, those guys usually have all kinds of holes and get found out pretty quickly. Ruiz found that out the first time against bulky, top heavy AJ.
