Well again his racism and **** talking come to the fore.
It's amazing how he can get away with these comments time and time again. Imagine if Klitchko made comments about black fighters all being crap or De la Hoya stating that all non-Americans were pathetic.
He really doesn't make me laugh these days, cos he can't back it up anymore.
It amazes me sometimes how so many people on NSB get offended when James Toney does some trash talking. I think a healthy dose of trash talking is good for hyping up the fight and getting fans excited.
Insofar as, James Toney having no class because he talks alittle smack is ridiculous, it's just who he is. Muhammed Ali was one of the biggest talkers inside and outside the ring and much of his popularity is because of it.
I will root for Peter because I like him, but part of me (and I'm a little ashamed of this) wants it to be a white fighter that knocks Toney out and ends his career. I wish it didn't matter but when you make a million racist comments like he has you can bring those sentiments out of people.

Ail was brilliant and funny and people rightfully loved him for it, as I do, but he did croos the line on several occasions. He called Frazier an Uncle Tom, for instance. That is too much and many people were rightfully offended by it.
Got to give Toney credit for pumping up public interest; but he's got as much chance of knocking out peter as I do. I really feel Toney's losing this fight, probably by kayo....if the past is any indication.
Toney take a good punch and blocks/slips most; but all it takes is one and Peter's got 12 rounds to land it. Not to mention Toney's conditioning will be the biggest factor. You can get away with being fat against Ruiz, Guinn, and Rahman; but I really don't think he can afford to be immobile against a free swinging bomber like Peter. James's heavyweight gameplan, so far, has been to lay on the ropes, slip, slide, and counter, right?
1. He's not going to hurt Peter with anything he lands.
2. Peter does not respect him like Rahman and Guinn did.
3. Tough as he is, he is a little man compared to Peter and is banking on fighting him the same way he fought everybody else north of 200....and that' suicide.
If Toney comes in around 220, then I give him a good chance to win; but the odds are he won't.....he's weighed more than 230 in all three of his last fights, so more than likely he'll be close to 240 for this one; but Peter needs to be in shape as well to give himself the best chance for victory. If he comes in around 260 like he's been talking, he's gonna blow the opportunity of a lifetime.
The equation for this fight is as follows: Two fat men equal a decision, One Fat Toney and One Hungry Peter equals One Former Middleweight KTFO.
