Canelo fights on an app not really on PPV. Garcia could make PPV with several fighters in his division and doesnt have to jump 2 divisions to fight an old inactive Pacquiao. Real boxing fans still wont buy that bs

So before you tangle this into the usual, I’m listing the names of ten guys that PAC fought in the last 9 years. You tell me if they were legit WW or worthy opponents;
- Broner
- Vargas
- Mathysse
- Horn
- Algieri
- Brandon Rios
- Mosley
Humor me please.

That said, when will PAC fight a true WW. One that’s not coming off a loss or weakened by some catchweight deal or coming up in weight?
You mean a prime undefeated big WW like Keith Thurman?
Oh yeah, that’s right.

It wasn’t just that Josesito Lopez almost upset Thurman when he hurt the heavily favored fighter in the seventh round. Pacquiao’s trainer considered it a poor performance overall for the unbeaten WBA “super” world welterweight champion and questioned whether Thurman ever can regain the form that enabled him to defeat Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter before injuries interrupted his career.
“I thought I was watching a four-round fighter,” Roach told BoxingScene.com following a Pacquiao training session this week at Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club. “I mean, he was terrible. He didn’t do well at all. But if you look at each of his last three fights, he’s faded in each one. I’m not sure if it’s the biceps injury or whatever they’re crying about, but he hasn’t looked good in the three fights that I’ve seen and I do have his last seven fights on tape.”

Prior to the Thurman fight, every single nüthugger was defending all the fights PAC had. Now that you have Thurman on the list, you are so vocal about it that we are supposed to forget you loved all the other garbage fights.

Forget was the wrong word. I ignored it. Let me give you context.
Casual fans and idiots like to say Floyd is a runner/hugger. They say that it happened right after Floyd moved up to 147. Floyd was 39-0 and after he beat Hatton so they judge him based on 11 fights. Meanwhile, he was right there in front of guys like Marquez, Mosley, Canelo, Guerrero, Connor, Cotto, Ortiz etc .... when you ask them who he was running from or hugging you get idiotic ghost blanks.
Have you watched Sugar Ray vs Duran II? SRL “runs” the whole fight.
So, in my post I ignored Thurman. It was a legit win I can’t discredit that but out of over a dozen fights at WW, that’s what we’re supposed to celebrate?

I'm surprised the below isn't a meme yet lol
Pacquiao also expressed no interest in fighting unbeaten 22-year-old American Ryan Garcia (21-0 record with 18 knockouts).
“He is too young, he looks like my son,” said Pacquiao ...
